Kaitlin Joy Barney died on November 15, 2019 after a long, hard fought battle with drug addiction. Kaitlin was an extremely beautiful and vivacious young woman who loved completely and with her whole heart. Her smile lit up a room and she had the ability to charm just about everyone. She had many aspirations and truly wanted to help people who were struggling like she was. She will be remembered for her sassy mouth, quick wit, great laugh, beautiful eyes and big hugs. Kaitlin loved to dance, sing and act goofy with her siblings. Her beautiful soul will be missed beyond measure.
Kaitlin was born on October 12, 1995 in Indianapolis, Indiana. She received her GED in December 2014. She is survived by her father Ryan Barney, mother Becky Barney, step-mother Susan Barney, brothers Kevin Barney, Jaden Barney, Tyler Antonucci and sisters Jamie Barney, Justice Ramos, Hope Antonucci, Kala Garvey and several grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
There will be a viewing on Friday, November 22nd from 6pm-8pm at Richardson's Remembrance Center, 725 E 4th St, Benson, AZ. There will be an additional viewing on Saturday, November 23rd from 9:00 - 9:40 am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 381 N. Pomerene Rd, Benson, AZ with the funeral immediately following at 10 am.
