Virginia Wavelyn (Billings) Meeks

Virginia Wavelyn "Abigail" Meeks was born on December 14, 1929, and entered eternal life on July 19, 2024, at the age of 94. She was born in Brooklyn, New York and resided in Benson, Arizona at the time of her death. Over the years she also lived in Washington Township, New Jersey, Newton, Connecticut, Peterborough, New Hampshire, and Ballston Spa, New York.

Her high school sweetheart and husband of 27 years, Stanley Anderson passed away suddenly in 1976, she remarried in 1978 to Waldon "Paul" Meeks, they were married for d32 years before his passing. Her sister Janet Maakestad also preceded her in death. 

She is survived by two brothers, Richard Billings of Ohio, Donald Billings of New York, and a sister Hazel Billings of Colorado. She is also survived of her children, Elise Cunningham of Florida, Karin Simpson of Arizona and Carlton Anderson of New York, as well as six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Services will be held on Saturday August 3, 2024, at 11:00am at Full Gospel Assembly, 151 E Walker Street, Benson, AZ 85602, with a pot blessed reception following.
