Obituary
Troy Lee McGoffin was born in Benson, AZ on February 19, 1965 to Harold and Lorraine McGoffin. Troy lost a long, hard, fought Battle of PTSD and depression, on June 8, 2023.
Troy was very well known and loved within the Benson community, but that is what happens when you are a Police officer for 27 years. The town becomes your second family. Troy also volunteered with the Benson Fire Department for many years. After retirement, you could always find Troy on the Golf Course.
Troy met the love of his life, Lori, back in 1988 and they had two beautiful children Nathan and Brooklyn, who he loved to travel the world with.
Troy is survived by his wife - Lori, his son - Nathan (Ciera), his daughters - Brooklyn (Junior) and Brianna (Stephen). His brothers - Geoff (Bunny), Steve (Jennifer), and Pat. His grandkids - Zella, Xander, Coralyn, Rubie, Nathaniel, and Oliver. His nephews - Sean (Perla & Gabe) and Johnathan. His Nieces - Monica and Melissa.
He is proceeded in death by his parents, Harold and Lorraine McGoffin and his sister-in-law Cheryl McGoffin.
Troys services will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Pomerene on June 16, 2023. The viewing will be from 10:30-11:30 AM and the services will begin at Noon.
