Rose Roberts Obituary

Rose Marie Moralez Roberts of Benson Az entered eternal life on March 1, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones.

Rose was born to Arthur and Marie Moralez in Delta, Colorado on March 14, 1957.

After marrying her forever love Stanley Roberts on February 27, 1982, Rose devoted her life to taking care of her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandma, sister, and Aunt known for her kindness, generosity, beautiful smile and contagious laughter. Her energy was felt by everyone she encountered, and she made sure her love was felt.

Rose is survived by her husband Stan, daughters Michelle (Billy) Fuller, Wendy (Adam) Matthews, Shari (Josh) Malik, Natasha (Moises) Martinez, Brianna (Simon) King, 10 Grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Thoughts from her children:

Michelle – “Rose always treated me like her own daughter, from the first time we met she wrapped her loving arms around me and took me as her child. She was always there when I needed to talk. Her smile and laughter were contagious. She was full of love for everyone. There was no one like her.”

Wendy – “Rose was a woman that you just couldn’t help but fall in love with. She had this kindness that just came naturally, it wasn’t forced. She was always willing to listen, offer support, and share a laugh when it was needed most. Once you laid your eyes on her, you knew exactly what you were getting...big hair, amazing smile, and arms wide open. She was selfless. A long time ago she taught me that being a kinder person would be a reward for my soul. She was right. She will forever live on in the hearts of everyone who knew her, and I am eternally grateful to call her by bonus mom. Love always, your daughter Wendy.”

Shari – “My mom is a shining star. The light and love that she brought into the room was just as beautiful as she was. She showed me strength and the true meaning of unconditional love. I wouldn’t be half the person I am without her. I will carry you in my heart wherever I may go. I love you forever and always, to the moon and the stars.”

Natasha – “My mom wasn’t only a mom to me, but to my kids and to many other kids throughout her life. She had a way of lighting up the room when she walked in, and those around her naturally gravitated to her. I admired how she could just capture the eyes as she walked in. Thank you, mommy, for loving me and my boys just the way you did. We love you to the moon and back.”

Brianna – “To know my mom was to know love, laughter, and generosity. Her legacy will always be her family, children, and all children. She had amazing strength, endless care, fierce love, radiant spirit, and beauty to her core. Mom, surround us in the warm rays of the sun, drops of rain, breeze that passes by, and glow of the moon and stars. We love you so much; this is not goodbye but see you later.

Rose’s love for children was felt by all and radiated without ceasing. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made in her name in the fight against child abuse. Donations can be made to Prevent Child Abuse Arizona, or an organization of your choice.
