Robert John Tulk was born January 31, 1955, in Deming, New Mexico, and returned home to the Lord on June 4, 2024, in Benson, Arizona. He is preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Jenitta Tulk, brothers Jimmy, Donnie, Joey, Kenny, Mike and sister Sharon. He is survived by his little sister Donitta and brother Bill Tulk. He is also survived by his loving wife and best friend, Robin, his children Justin (Sandra), Rob (Laci), Jay (Jody), Deidra (Phillip) and Mandi, grandchildren Davina, Kasandra, Mikala, Jared, Trace, Clayton, Chance, Trell, Hunter, Bayleigh, Kyleigh, Jerry, Zoey, Dylan, Jayden, Charlie Grace & Evan, as well as several great grandchildren.

Robert spent his life serving the public as a law enforcement officer with Cochise County Sheriff’s Department, Springerville and Eagar Police Departments, and as a Highway Patrolman with the Arizona Department of Public Safety. Following his retirement, he and Robin spent their time traveling the Unites States sharing the Bible and their love of Jesus Christ with their Circle the Wagons Traveling Ministry. They helped plant several churches in the Western US and made incredible friends along the way. He was a loving and devoted father, husband and friend. He never met a stranger and would share his joy and positivity with anybody who would listen. His memories will carry on in the colorful stories he loved to share.

Robert was under the care of an amazing team at the Banner Cancer Center in Tucson, as well as occasionally being treated with loving care, dignity and kindness by the wonderful teams at Benson Hospital, Healthcare Innovations, Benson Fire Department and Huachuca City Fire Department.

Services will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, June 29, at Mustang Mountain Cowboy Church, 100 West Oak Street, Huachuca City, Arizona, 85616, with lunch and fellowship to follow. The family has asked that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Mustang Mountain Cowboy Church.

A special thanks to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, Benson Fire Department, Benson Police Department, and Cochise County Sheriff’s Department for the touching escort that was provided from Benson Hospital to Richardson’s Mortuary.
