Neil Douglas Etter, 47, passed away on Thursday, December 7, 2023, in his home in St. David, Arizona. He was born on July 10, 1976, in San Diego, California, the son of the late Richards Etter and Wendy Jurgensen. When he as very young his family moved to Phoenix, Arizona and that is where Neil grew up, raising hell, and riding bulls. He graduated from West Valley High School in June of 1995.
Neil moved to Springerville, Arizona in the summer of 1995. He had a few jobs there, including Hanagan Meadow, Reidheads Lumber Mill and Jim's Garage. In 2003 he went to work at SES at the power plant as a light equipment operator. In 2007 he started with Tucson Electric Power and in 2017 transferred to the Tucson plant becoming a control room operator. Neil loved his job and the many friends he made along the way.
Neil's passion in life was racing. He bought his first racecar in 2001 and he was hooked! He got to own several different cars during his racing career. These were good times and our family made lots of memories together traveling from track to track.
