Nancy Moskwa Obituary

Mrs. Nancy Moskwa (Foltz)

D.O.B. 09/05/1948          D.O.D. 01/14/2025

Nancy lost her battle with a combination of lung issues including pulmonary Fibrosis and Pneumonia. She resided in St. David, at the time of her death.

She was born in Detroit, Michigan on Sept 9, 1948, and lived in Dearborn, later moving to Birmingham, Michigan. She graduated in 1966 form Seaholm High School. Nancy married Edwin Moskwa on July 27, 1973, and in 1975 they moved to Arizona.

Nancy enjoyed her job as a Domestic Engineer (housewife), but also held volunteer positions as a church treasurer, school library aide, keeper of the door at Kartchner Caverns State Park, had a card ministry at church and Solid Rock Riders and served as the CMA Chapter Run for the Son chapter secretary.

Between June 1973 and June 1975                                                                                                                                      1. In 1973 I met and married my Nancy                                                                                                                                   2. In 1974, a. We travel to AZ and visited my mom                                                                                                                                   b. our daughter Danyella was born                                                                                                                                           c. this one was the most life changing experience for Nancy. In November of that year Nancy became a Child of God and I joyfully, in an instant became number two in her life.

Nancy was a private person therefore was a behind the scenes warrior always doing the important things that went unseen. Everyone she met liked her. Although she did not play sports, she enjoyed going to sporting events and loved to go on walks. She also loved nature and our pets. In the mornings, prayer and Bible study were important to her. She was always ready to share her faith, when opportunities presented themselves quietly, by example.

She is survived by her husband, Edwin Moskwa and her daughters Jolanda (Jordan, Danyella (Pounder) and Kara (Kreter). Grandchildren Antonio and Jose (Jordan), Leo and Andorra (LaCour) and Andrew and Elijah (Kreter). She is also survived by a younger brother David (Foltz) and a younger sister Marcia (Camp).

In closing Nancy's beautiful empty tent lay there in front of me and fifty-one years of marriage flashed before my eyes, I thought of two songs:                                                                                                                                                              1. "I Can Only Imagine" by Mercy Me, like Bart, I was wondering "Babe as you are standing before Jesus what are you doing?"                                                                                                                                                                                     2. "Thank You" by Ray Boltz, I was imagining the throngs of people running up to you and thanking you for your faithfulness to God.

This was Nancy's legacy left to me:                                                                                                                                       1. Mt 22:37 - She loved God                                                                                                                                                      2. Eph. 5:21 - She respected me                                                                                                                                          3. 3 Jn. 1:14 - She lived her life with purpose

I look forward to seeing you again when it's my turn to transition to my heavenly home. Bye babe, I love you and you will always BE IT.     ~AMEN~
