Mary Patricia Lansing

Miss Mary Patricia (Mary Pat) Lansing, age 94, of St. David AZ, passed away on January 30, 2026, at her care home in Tucson Arizona. Born on August 16, 1931, in Miami AZ, Mary Pat lived a life rooted in faith, family, music and friendship.

A devoted Catholic, Mary Pat was a lifelong member who shared her gifts of music and worship, where she found strength and community. She cherished attending Mass, praying the Rosary, leading and playing music and living out the values of kindness and compassion.

Mary Pat was preceded in death by her father Willis, her mother Nina and her brothers Don and Paul (Pearl), and other loved ones. She is survived by her nieces and nephews; Mary Usry, Terrie Ehman, Lenore Webber, Kevin Lansing and Lee Lansing as well as her    dear cousins Alvin Siniaho (Shellie Rice), Annell Bacon, Daryl Fisher and Betty and Darrell Holmes. She has many great nieces and nephews and a new generation of grandnieces and nephews. Her lifelong friend Veronica Willson among many other friends will miss her warmth, wisdom and competitiveness. Mary Pat loved to play games, especially bridge.

Mary Pat was a lifelong member of the Benson Women's Club and the Bridge Club. She dedicated her life to music education in St. David and surrounding communities. She ushered in an era of band and music to the area when she moved to St. David as a brand-new teacher in 1953. A recent graduate of Arizona State University

A Rosary and Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church on Monday February 16, 2026. The Rosary will begin at 10:00. The funeral will begin at 10:30, followed by interment at Cochise Garden of Rest.

Refreshments will begin at 12:30, followed by a community celebration of life at Lansing Auditorium on the high school campus. There will be the opportunity to share stories, memories, songs and prayers, the video from Pioneer Day 2024 about Mary Pat Lansing will also be shared.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. David High School Music program.

May Mary Pat rest in eternal peace in the presence of our Lord.
