Mary Sue Fournie

Mary Sue Fournie, (Mary) Age 72, a resident of the community of Mescal-J6 Benson Arizona, passed away on July 5, 2024, at home with her loving family and her cherished chihuahua Missy Mouse, by her side. Mary was the daughter of Andy and Mary Glenn, both deceased.  Mary was a loving wife and leaves behind her husband David L. Fournie, a husband of 36 years.  David is the son of Leaster and Ruth Fournie, both Deceased. Mary and David have a daughter, Leeanna Fish who has 4 children, (Grandchildren of Mary and David) are AJ, John, Evelia, and Marley.

Mary and David were married on May 28th, 1988.  They lived in Tucson until they purchased land and a home in Mescal-J6.  During their marriage, Mary earned multiple degrees in Electromechanical Engineering including a Masters.  She had a successful career that included time with IBM and later worked as a mechanical Engineer at 3M/Imation where she held all of her teams to the highest standards, until her retirement. Mary always had good stories of her times at work.  It was always noted, there were always two ways to doing things, the right way and Mary’s way. With Mary’s way usually being the right way.  We will miss her stories. 

Mary and David were members of and regularly attended the services of Calvary Baptist Church in Benson Arizona.  Services for Mary Sue Fournie will be held at Calvary Baptist Church, 2300 W. Calvary Lane, Benson Arizona, Wednesday July 17th, 2024, 11:00 AM visitation and 12:00 PM service and will be open to all who wish to attend and offer respects and prayers to Mary and her family.
