Maria Teresa (Tapia) Hutchinson

Our beloved mother, Maria Teresa "Ticha" Hutchinson went to our Heavenly Father on January 11, 2021. Predeceased by her loving son, Modesto Atilano, her father and mother, Juan and Mary Tapia, brother Oscar White; sisters Angie Akers and Genevieve Tapia. Also predeceased by her grandson Alex Santa Cruz.

We are going to miss her beautiful smile and the love she had for her family. Survived by her husband, Jim Hutchinson; sons, Joe Rodriguez, Buddy (Clarisa) Otero; daughters Terry (Bob) Francis; Maria (John) Malloy and April (Carlos) Rodriguez.

Nana Ticha will be greatly missed by her grandchildren Mark, Nicole, Jacob, Maximo, Annamarie and Katherine. She loved her great grandchildren Analise, Blaine and Kingston.

Ticha is also survived by brothers, Juan (Pie), Armando (Mando), Jaime and sisters Jenny and Irene (Masy). She is survived by many nephews and nieces and treated them as if they were her own.

After working many years at Pima Uniforms as a seamstress she successfully strived to manage her own alteration business for a short time. Always ready to help others and always sewing, crocheting or cooking for others. She crocheted beautiful blankets for everyone.

She was a great inspiration, loved her Life in Christ family unconditionally, faithful in the Lord, humble and compassionate in loving her family and friends. She was an avid gardener and took pride in all she would grow.
