Maetta Parks Obituary

Maetta Sue Parks, 74, of Benson, Arizona, passed away on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, in her home following an illness.
Maetta was born on May 29, 1951, in Watseka, Illinois, to Lucille Cobbs

A Life Dedicated to Family
On April 16, 1969, Maetta married the love of her life, Jimmy Dean Parks. They shared 56 beautiful years together, building a legacy defined by commitment, family, and love.
Maetta dedicated her working years to the healthcare field, where her compassionate nature surely touched countless lives. Her greatest pride, however, was her family. She and Jimmy raised two children together, watching their family tree flourish with grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was greatly loved and will be missed beyond words by her entire family and all who knew her kindness.

Family Legacy
Maetta is survived by her devoted husband of 56 years, Jimmy Dean Parks.
She is also survived by her two loving children: her daughter Paula Wilson and her son Samuel Parks.
Maetta’s legacy continues through her five cherished grandchildren: Zackary, Lindsay, Cody, Logan, and Caitlin; and her seven great-grandchildren: Leighton, Kenzlee, Laiklynn, Jason, Maverick, Teryn, and Autumn.
She is also survived by her sister Lucinda Herring, her niece Ashley, her nephews Chandler and Kyler, and a great niece and nephew.
Maetta was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, and many other loved ones over the years.
