Lorene Marie (Nelson) Boyd

Lorene Marie Nelson Boyd passed away on October 7, 2023, of natural causes, at home with family and loved ones. She was born on November 11, 1938, in Oakland, Nebraska to Clarence and Clara Boyd. 

She married Jerry Boyd on August 17, 1956, they were married for 49 years, and they raised their 5 children in Cherokee, Iowa. When they retired, they moved to Benson, Arizona in 1989. She was a lifetime member of the VFW Womens Auxiliary, and was very active with the auxiliary.

After the passing of Jerry, she was blessed to Lenard Arrowood in her life for 12 years, they were great companions to each other during that time. 

Lorene is proceeded in death by her parents Clarence and Clara Nelson, husband Jerry Boyd, two brothers Arnold and Erwin Nelson, sister Gean Graulich, daughter-in-law Chris Boyd and two sons-in-law, Richard Van Beek and Bob Radcliffe. She is also survived by her children Pam (Tom) Nielsen, Pat (Lori) Boyd, Jim (Renee) Boyd, Angie Van Beek, Vicki (Chad) Radcliffe, also 8 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

The family is not planning any services at this time.
