Len J Taylor

Len (Sonny) J. Taylor 84, of Benson, AZ, passed away Friday, March 1, 2024, at his home.  He was born on March 27, 1939, in Hot Springs, NM.  His parents were Allene Knight Taylor and Alvin Taylor of Douglas, AZ.

When Sonny was a small child, his family relocated to Arizona.  Sonny grew up on the "Lazy J. Ranch" East of Douglas, Arizona.  He graduated from Douglas High School, served in the Army, then went on to serve many years in Arizona law enforcement.  Sonny was retired and enjoyed visiting with family and his lifelong friends.  In his spare time, he loved to watch Rodeo on TV.  

He was preceded in death by the love of his life, his wife Arta Bacon Taylor.  He is survived by his Son  Clint of Tucson, AZ, and his Daughter Heidi of Benson, AZ.  He is also survived by his Grandchildren Joey, Caden, Jake, and Emma of Benson, AZ, and Ian, Ashley of Tucson, AZ., and Four Great Grandchildren.

Sonny was loved by so many and will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
