Karen Masek was born in Tucson, Arizona November 12, 1952 and passed away April 9, 2020 in Tucson, Arizona at the age of 67. She was preceded in death by her father Stephen Krug, her mother Olive Krug, her husband Phillip “Doc Phillips” Fritz and her brothers William, Stephen, and David Krug. She is survived by her loving partner, Larry Crotteau, her brother Gary (Penny) Krug, her sister Kathy Edmiston, her sister-in-law Anne Krug, her sons Steven (Paula) and Scott (Jacelyn) Legge, her daughter, Kerry (Randy) Reep, and seven grandchildren, Nigel (Katherine) Conlee, Ayla Conlee, Victorea Legge, Bryana (Mike) Codding, Sara Reep, Ollie Legge, and Kyle Reep. She is also survived by two great grandchildren, Krysta and Drake Conlee, and several nieces and nephews.
During Karen’s life, she pursued many artistic endeavors, including painting, crafting, sculpting and wood burning. She enjoyed singing karaoke, dancing and spending time with her dog, Precious.
Karen suffered from dementia the last decade of her life. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Alzheimer’s Association or Harmony Hospice Services LLC.
