Karen Butler Obituary

Karen H. Butler passed into eternity on Friday, January 20, 2023 at the age of 89. Born on May 4, 1933 in Mobeetie, Texas as Hattie Karen Toler.
Her family relocated to Houston after the war where she lived, married and had four children.

Moving in the early 1960s to Tucson Arizona with her parents and children, she worked at the family restaurants until their retirement. She served as the Executive Director of Hosanna Tape Library (later renamed Hosanna Christian Book store) and retired to care for her parents. Moving for a brief time back to Texas and returning to Arizona for the past 11 years.

Karen is preceded in death by her parents, David and Estelle Toler and sister Carole Toler Kern, sons: C.D. Butler III(Buddy), Billie Paul Butler, John Travis Butler.

Karen is survived by: a daughter, Davida Butler Stike of Huntsville Texas
12 grandchildren: Karen Owen Fuchs, Christa Reachert, Chadwick Stike, Bailey Stike, Angela Butler , Danielle Butler Nallory, Sarah Butler Johnson, Martha Butler, David Butler, Billie Paul Butler, Jr. and Jonathan (John) Butler and Travis Butler.
19 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren
