Obituary
Joshua David Benton, 41, of Benson, AZ went home to rest with his mother on 6 May 2023 after a tragic accident.
Josh was born on 5 May 1982 to Betty Sue Goad and David Eugene Benton in Kingsport, TN. Josh was most recently the lead mechanic at Highway 92 Service Center in Bisbee, AZ. Josh was a very dedicated father and mechanic. He had a huge heart and loved his children more than anything in the world. He worked hard to ensure his boys had everything they needed. He was the kind of person who would pull the shirt off his back and give it to you if you needed it.
Josh is survived by his two children: Victor David Benton and Daniel Amos Benton, Sister: Jennifer Sue Benton, and Brothers: Jonathan Andrew Benton and Dustin John Clemons, Uncle: Bob Goad, and many cousins, a niece, and nephews.
Josh is preceded in death by his mother: Betty Sue Phillips, Step-father: Amos Phillips, Aunts: Mary Sexton, Juanita Kern, Paula Luster, and Uncles: Jim Goad, and Bill Goad.
“Though your life on earth was short lived and hard, just know that you will always be with us. We will love and miss you deeply until we can see each other again. You gave everything you had to your children and loved them with all your heart. Let Mom and God return the favor until we all get to see you again. Rest in peace our brother, We love you always!”
