Joseph “Joe” Louis Bidegain, 74, of Benson, Arizona, was born on October 7, 1951, in Benson to Marge and Joe Bidegain Sr., who preceded him in death. Joe passed away on February 15, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family.
Joe is survived by his beloved wife, Janae Bidegain; his brother, Dale (Rosemary) Bidegain; his children, Audra (Ingrid) Bidegain and Matt (Kristin) Bidegain; and his cherished grandchildren, Bear, Joey, and Baylor, who brought him immense pride and joy.
Joe attended the University of Arizona, where he earned a degree in Animal Sciences, a foundation that reflected his lifelong passion for agriculture. After college, he ventured to Salome, Arizona, where he began farming and ranching, work that shaped both his career and his character.
He later moved into real estate, selling under Bidegain Realty in Tucson, before transitioning into construction. Joe built custom homes throughout Tucson and, in 1989, founded Bidco Construction in Benson. He concluded his professional career managing commercial construction projects locally and across surrounding communities, earning respect for his integrity, work ethic, and leadership.
Deeply committed to his community, Joe served on the local school board, was a dedicated 4-H leader, and coached Little League, always investing his time and energy into the next generation.
No matter where life took him, Joe never lost his love for agriculture and the outdoors. He found joy in raising livestock, sharing his knowledge with others, hunting, fishing, and spending time outside. Above all, he treasured dancing with his wife and the life they built together.
Joe will be remembered for his steady presence, generous spirit, and unwavering dedication to his family, his work, and his community.
A Celebration of Life will be held on February 28th from 12:00-4:00 at 4EVR Ranch in Benson, AZ. The family requests you bring a photo and/or a 5x7 card detailing a memory of Joe.
