John Stephen Szilasi

John Stephen Szilasi passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by love on July 28, 2025.  He was born on August 31, 1941 in Garfield, New Jersey.

Jack, preceded in death by his parents John and Kate, is survived by his partner Anna Palmer, children John, Ken, and Sandra, former spouse Bev, and seven grandchildren.

Jack was a man of sharp intellect, entrepreneurial drive, and unyielding spirit. His lifelong love of the outdoors—whether camping, sailing, riding motorcycles, hiking, archery, or shooting—reflected his pursuit of adventure and peace. He championed natural health and self-care, and his passion for politics fueled thoughtful conversations, inspiring others to stay engaged and informed.

He will be remembered for the generosity he extended to friends and strangers alike, and the insights he shared.
