Joanne Kathleen (Muir) Kirkwood

Joanne (Joangel) Kathleen Kirkwood (Muir) left us to be with our Lord and Savior on New Year's Day 2023.  Joanne was born 03 February 1954 in Toronto Canada.  She spent much of her time in Nova Scotia, Canada and considered it her home.  Joanne was the only daughter of Joseph Muir and Dorothy Muir (McNeil).  Joanne was preceded by her parents and all but one of her five brothers.  Joanne is survived by her husband Brian Kirkwood (Benson, AZ), her brother Marvin Muir (Port Hope, ON) and cousin, Brenda Findlay (Lorne, NS), brother-in-law Eric Dumont (Phoenix, AZ) and sister-in-law Courtney Figueiredo (Reno, NV). She is also survived by her sons Jeffery Eadie (Ajax, ON) and Daryl Eadie (Truro, NS). Joanne is also survived by her stepchildren; Kimberly Guilliams and grandchildren Tyler, Gloria and Sydney.  Darci Nelson and grandchild Devlin. Ian Kirkwood and grandchildren Lauren and Greyson. Stacee Tovar and grandchildren Valentina and Esmerelda.

Joanne came to live in Arizona from Nova Scotia March 2005.  Brian and Joanne were married 10 December 2005.  Joangel loved her Lord Jesus and her church family at the First Baptist Church, Benson Arizona.  Joangel enjoyed baking, crochet and singing.  She treasured the time spent in Canada with her children.

She leaves a Joangel sized hole in the lives of those who loved her.  But Joangel is happy in the presence of the Lord.  She is singing and worshiping I'm sure, content waiting for her loved ones left behind to join her.  There will be a Memorial for Joangel on the 4th of February 2023 at the First Baptist Church Benson Arizona.  Please don't send flowers, instead, give to your favorite charity.
