Jesse Jarred Obituary

Jesse Lee Jarred, age 82, beloved husband and father and long time resident of Benson, AZ passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 20, 2020 at Benson Hospital. He was born on May 20, 1938 to Forrest and Avaline Jarred in Sacramento, CA. Lee (as he was commonly known to family and friends) was a dedicated employee and had 28 years of service with the AZ Department of Transportation (ADOT) until retiring in 1998. After retiring from ADOT, he was a dedicated part-time employee as a crossing guard and bus driver for the Benson Unified School District from 1998-2009. Lee is preceded in death by his parents, his loving wife of 39 years Carol Ann Jarred and his son Michael W. Jarred. He is survived by his brother Ted, nine children and stepchildren and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
