Jeanne L (Allen) Charles

Jeanne  L. Charles ~ Benson, Arizona

Jeanne L. Charles (Allen) was born in Norway, Maine April 28, 1950 and died December 7, 2024 at the age of 74. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.  She is survived by her husband of 51 years, David P. Charles Jr. and her children Tina Clark and Chris Charles.  Her grandchildren are Jacob Clark, Tyler Clark, Tucker Charles and, through marriage, Christian, Alyssa and Johnny.  She joined the Navy at the age of 18 and served her country.  She met her life partner and married David October 24, 1973.  Jeanne was a sailor’s wife for many years and they were stationed all over including Virginia, New Jersey and Cuba, raising 2 children along the way.  

David and Jeanne eventually purchased a house and settled in Maryland.  Jeanne then became a school bus driver for 15 years and loved her job.  They later moved to Arizona and enjoyed several years of great weather for their retirement.  Jeanne enjoyed life to the fullest and had such an infectious laugh; you couldn’t help but laugh with her.  She will be missed by all.
