Dorthey Louise Moncada 

March 14, 1959- April 22nd, 2025

Dorthey was born on March 14, 1959, in Tucson Arizona and passed away on April 22, 2025, in Tucson Arizona surrounded by her family. She is preceded in death by her husband Paul Moncada and parents Lloyd and Shirley VanSomeren. She is survived their 6 children Chris (Melissa), Tabitha, P.J (Brittany),

Megan (Mark), Sam, Tori, and grandchildren Antonio, Savannah, Sierra, Baylee, Logan, Ty, Emma, Elena, Payton, Lexi, Megan, Hope, Easton, Payson, Dalton and great grandson Everett.

Dorthey was a Navy Seebee reservist and owned several businesses including a movie store and candy station. Following her retirement from the city recreation department she spent her time traveling with Paul and spending time with family.

A wake will be held at the City Council Chambers (Lions Club) on May 31st at 2pm.
