Diane Annette (Colvin) Kurzhals

Diane Annette Kurzhals (52) Passed away in Benson Arizona on January 23rd, 2020 with her loving husband at her side.

Diane was born May 24th, 1967 to Bill and Sara Colvin of Elgin Arizona. Diane was the youngest of 5 children and the only girl. In 1986 Diane graduated from Tombstone High School. Diane had many professions in life- Hotel front desk agent, Ranch Hand and Pet Sitter but her main passion was Real Estate. In 2003 Diane earned her real estate sales license. She loved helping people buy and sell homes, she made a true connection with each client. In 2011 Diane earned her Brokers License and opened Desert Willow Realty. Diane worked successfully as a single person brokerage from her home office until 2016 when her daughter Sara joined her as a sales agent. In 2018, Diane and Sara opened Desert Willow Realty’s First Office in Benson Arizona.

Diane was a selfless, giving and kind-hearted woman who touched the lives of everyone she encountered. She was an active member of her church, Calvary Saint David and was a founding member of the newly formed “We Care Pregnancy and Resource Center” in Benson, Arizona.  Diane loved the sunshine and spent as much time outside as she could. She loved gardening, sunflowers and tending to her dogs, horses and cats. Diane Loved to travel and would go on vacation anytime she could find a day or two to get away. She loved going to the beach and into the mountains to camp; she also loved to hunt wild edible mushrooms with her friends. In 2008 Diane became a Nana and enjoyed every moment of it. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren- they loved to bake cookies, go on outings and go to church together.

Diane is survived by her Husband Richard Kurzhals, Daughter Sara Ridley, Son Joel Kurzhals and two grandchildren- Aiden Kurzhals and Amanda Ridley. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
