Brenda J. (Snapp) Flynn
Obituary
Brenda Jean Snapp was born on November 9, 1953 in Greencastle, Indiana. She graduated from Butler University and was a teacher at Decatur High School in Indianapolis. She married John Flynn and the couple later moved to Arizona where Brenda began selling commercial real estate. She transitioned back to working with youth and their families in a career with the Pima County Juvenile Probation Department. She retired after 25 years as the Director of Probation Services.
Brenda was a swimmer for most of her life, setting records in several strokes and coaching the swim team while she was a teacher. She continued to be active and loved walking and kayaking, as well as reading and watching movies.
On February 21, 2022 Brenda passed away leaving behind her husband of 44 years John Flynn, her father, Harold Snapp and three sisters, Teresa Castro, Charlene Herman and Carla Anderson.
A memorial will be held on Saturday April 9, 2022 from 1-3 PM at Cochise Community College, 1025 State Route 90, Benson, AZ. A two-mile walk will follow in the Calle Tortuga neighborhood.
