Albert Estavillo of St. David passed away at his home on Sunday, Nov. 27, 2016 at the age of 83.

Albert was born on April 21, 1933 to Pete Estavillo and Angelita Vindiola Estavillo. He resided in Benson and St. David for many years with his wife, Lena. Al was a well-known meat cutter for Food Center/Gordon’s Market for 40 years and was employed at Arizona Electric Power Cooperative for six years. He was also a member of the Benson Volunteer Fire Department for 20 years, a member of the Knights of Columbus and in the National Guard.

Some of Al’s fondest memories were playing golf, softball, bowling, fishing, riding horses and being on the Benson Union High School chain gang.

Albert is survived by his wife, Lena; daughters, Terry (Jon) Stricker of St. David, Ariz.; Judi (Rod) Pearce of Eagar, Ariz.; sons, Jody (Cathy) Estavillo of Granger, Ind.; Mike (Kathy) Estavillo of Eagar and Tom (Carol) Estavillo of Willcox, Ariz. Also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Albert was loved by his family and friends and will be missed.
