Bill DeHaven was born in Charleston, West Virginia on December 3, 1939. The family moved to Tucson, Arizona when Bill was 3 years old.
Bill went to high school in Marana. He loved sports and played on the football team as quarterback.
Bill was an adventurer. He was hitchhiking to Alaska when he stopped at his brother's house in Wyoming. There he met the love of his life, Dawna Yale. They were married on October 20, 1957. Both of them loved to fish, camp, and travel. They were inseparable.
Bill is survived by his wife of 60 years, Dawna; a daughter, Carolyn (Mike); a son, Larry (Bonnie); a sister, Karen; five children, six great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Bill is preceded in death by his dad and mom, four brothers, two grandchildren, and two nieces.
