Wiley passed away peacefully on March 25, 2018. He was born June 23, 1927 in Prescott, Arizona. His family settled in Denver in the late 1940s.
Wiley served in the US Navy in the Pacific Theater during WWII.
He married his wife, Glenn, in 1953, and raised Patricia and Roger, all of whom survive him.
He graduated from the University of Colorado in 1950, and earned a MA +90 in Education from the University of Denver in 1968. He taught history and geography, and coached track, basketball and tennis at Littleton High School, near Denver, for 34 years. Wiley and Glenn settled in Saint David after his retirement in 1984, where he substitute taught and officiated baseball and basketball for 20 years.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Grady and William, and is survived by his wife, children, 3 grandsons, and a great-granddaughter.
