Rose Eileen Fenn

Rose Eileen Fenn was born January 29, 1932 in Tucson, AZ to Josephine and Edward Flynn.  Rose spent most of her life in the beautiful San Pedro Valley.  She grew up on Flynn Road in St. David, AZ and attended St. David schools.

Rose attended St. Mary's School of Nursing in Tucson, AZ.  She worked as a nurse most of her life in various roles in the community.  Rose met her husband Robert at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Benson, and on October 24, 1953, they were married there.  They moved around Arizona for several years, living in Tucson, Stanfield, McNeal and Prescott.  They moved back to Benson in 1961 and they bought the Benson Feed & Supply Store, which is still operated by Rose's son Edward.

Rose entered into eternal life in Benson, AZ on July 2nd 2018.  Rose is preceded in death by her husband Robert Fenn, sisters Patricia Sowick and Mary (Ed) Egan, and her brothers George Flynn and Daniel Flynn and her daughter in-law Veronica Fenn.   Rose is survived by her sister Kathleen Southan, and her children Edward (Mary Ebert) Fenn, Stephen Fenn, Jeanne (Roger Lovestrom) Fenn, Catherine Fenn, Loretta (Brian) Goeglein and Rita (Niles) Miller.  Rose's grandchildren are Ryan Fenn, Derrick (Molly) Fenn, Logan Fenn, Connor Fenn, Josephine Albertini, Francesco Albertini, Caleb Miller, Brett Miller, Grace Goeglein, Clayton (Ali) Goeglein, and a great-grand child Hayden Goeglein.  Rose also has countless nieces and nephews scattered throughout the states and overseas.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, July 7th at 10:00 am, beginning with a Rosary at 9:30 am.  Graveside services will be following the mass at High Street Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Benson Animal Shelter, Meals on Wheels or other local charity of your choice.  Special thanks to the staff at Quiburi Nursing Home and TMC Hospice.
