Louie Edward Fink, 90, a 61-year resident of Benson, entered eternal life on December 10, 2019, at his home. Louie was born on March 19, 1929, in Indianola, Oklahoma to Leonard Lee and Daisy Mae Fink, the 4th of 7 children.
Louie was born into a farming family, working the farm with his father and brothers until he entered the US Army as an artillery specialist where he served from 1949-1953. On January 27, 1951, he married the love of his life, Melba June Harshaw. After working the pipeline across to the California border, they settled in Tucson, AZ and in 1958 they moved to Benson. In his retirement years Louie enjoyed traveling, woodworking and walking but still missed his many years of bowling.
