Elvira Mendoza Obituary

Elvira was born in Benson, Ariz. on Sept. 18, 1948 and passed away May 23, 2018.

Her parents were mother Adelina Mendoza (deceased) and father Abel Mendoza (deceased). Elvira had five brothers: Gilbert (deceased), Alex and wife, Socorro; Abel (deceased); Carlos and wife Carmen; Francisco (deceased). Elvira had six sisters as well: Julia Dimas (deceased); Stella Olivas (deceased); Patsy (Tenorio Chapo); Olivia Mendoza, Ofelia Rivera and husband, Ramon; and Jennie Rigney.

Services will be held June 2, 2018 at Our Lourdes Catholic Church. Pallbearers are Albert Rigney, Jerry Brown, Abel Rigney, Damien Austin, Robert Austin, David Loza, John Brown, and William (Billy) Olivan.

Rosary starts at 9 a.m. with Mass at 10 a.m. Burial is at High Street Cemetery.

Arrangements under care of Richardson’s Remembrance Center.
