Felipa (Duenas) Bernal

FELIPA DUENAS BERNAL, age 92, passed away peacefully after saying goodbye to all 8 of her children on March 14th, 2024, in Benson, AZ! 

Felipa was born on September 3rd, 1931, in El Tigre, Sonora, Mexico to Aurelio and Cruz Duenas. Felipa was widow to Armando L. Bernal and happily married for 60 years.

Together they raised 8 children and raised their children in the Benson area for 57 years! Felipa is survived by her 8 children and many grand and great grandchildren!

Felipa’s main focus in life was her children. She spent many days and nights praying and working for her children and always found time to help others. Her career was her family, and her family was her life. She touched many in the community right up to her very last days. It was evident that Felipa shared her love with her family and friends, and those that she cared for and cared for her.
