Kent Thomas Vaughn

Kent Thomas Vaughn was born on October 18, 1964 in Benson, Arizona to Jack and Eddie Vaughn.  He was the youngest of five children. Kent was preceded in death by his brother William Kim Strieby and his childhood best friend, Christopher Rene Padia.

Kent is survived by his mother Eddie (Vaughn) Maxfield of Benson, Uncle Tom (Ann) Damron of Tucson, Kevin (Debbie) Strieby of Queen Creek, and sisters Karen Sigley and Kathleen Strieby, both of Benson.  He also leaves behind a daughter, Brandie Wood of Tucson, and two grandchildren Ashia Gonzales and Nate Gonzales, as well as many cousins, several nieces and nephews.

Kent loved Benson.  After attending school in Benson, he decided to make this town his home.  He worked several jobs in and around the area.  He was most known for being a  kind-hearted man who would do anything for anyone.  He was known by all, loved by many and will be dearly missed.
